Biography

Michael Singer is a healthcare executive, ophthalmologist, and experienced independent director. He is currently CSO at Cartesian Therapeutics, a clinical-stage cell therapy company he co-founded. He previously co-founded HealthHonors and Topokine, which were acquired by Healthways and Allergan, respectively. Prior to this Dr. Singer served as Director of Ophthalmology Translational Medicine at Novartis and as Attending Ophthalmologist in the VA Healthcare System. He holds a BS and MD/PhD from Yale and completed residency at Harvard. He serves as a Director for BioPorto A/S, Cartesian Therapeutics, and Anodyne Nanotech. He volunteers as Clinical Asst. Professor of Medicine at Yale and on the Board of Advisors at the Museum of Science.
