Biography
Mr. Roth has more than 30 years of product development and operational experience in the medical device field where has led the development and commercialization of products in the cardiology, surgery and biomaterial fields.
Prior to Pykus, Mr. Roth was LCM Director for the Biosurgery Business Unit within Sanofi, where he led the development of products for their surgical and orthopedic biomaterial-based device businesses. Mr. Roth has held executive roles at four additional venture-backed device companies in the Boston area – Semprus Biosciences (purchased by Teleflex Medical), Arsenal Medical, Percardia and Focal (purchased by Genzyme).
He holds BS and ME degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MBA from Babson College.
